Thanks to everyone for a wild Summer! This was my busiest year yet playing music. The Oregon Country Fair saw Farside Band drawing big crowds to the Dome on Friday and Saturday nights in between Phil’s sets at Mainstage. Glass Fest in Birken was rained out but we had a blast anyways. Gord and I wound up there in Birken later for Garlic Fest which ended up being a beautiful night of music. A big surprise was two parties on Hardy Island in some swanky waterfront mansions. There were several multi-gig weekends that involved very little sleep and I was a bit green behind the gills for Bedwell Bay Bash kick-off at the Govt.Dock in Deep Cove. Hatzik Music Fest was a crazy night of 360′ lightning and torrential rain while everyone danced. *B.A.T.S. = Buddy and the Scarecrow
